18-Senior Sign (Meet at the bus loop at 7:45 to ride to the stadium. Mr. Peoples will check signs at this time. Picture will be at 8:00. We will return to school by 8:30.)


1-Project Graduation Reservation Forms AND $25 deposit due

10-ACT test date

13-SAE's Periods 2, 4, and 6

14-SAE's Periods 1, 3, and 5

15-SAE's Period 7 (Begins at 12:51pm)


13-Deadline to register for the February ACT


11-ACT test date

Senior Exam Information




  • Request a copy of your high school transcripts. Review grades for any discrepancies-if any found, notify your counselor immediately (Transcript Request Form can be picked up in the front office) 
  • Meet with your School Counselor to check your graduation requirements. (For appointments
  • Complete your Bright Futures Application ( Application Open on October 1, 2016)
  •  ACT, SAT, or PERT. (Free Lunch=Free Test)
  • Research at least 4 colleges or technical institutions and submit applications
  • Apply for Scholarships! Go to and click on the Scholarship Info button on the left side of the screen.
  • Give teachers a few weeks notice regarding Letters of Recommendations.
  • Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to see if you qualify for Pell Grant (Fall 2017 App opens on 10/01/2016.)
  • Check your FOCUS Student Portal DAILY!

Sometimes, college applications can be very confusing!  Do some research, narrow down a specific college and make an appointment with Ms. McKinney if you need assistance completing college applications.

University Admissions Info:  Below is a matrix of information regarding Florida universities. This matrix shows the ACT/SAT Scores and GPA needed in order to be accepted into a certain Florida university. It also gives information regarding freshman housing, tuition, and more!
