Chipley High School is excited to welcome Coach Max Havel as the next Head Baseball Coach of the Chipley Tigers.

Coach Havel brings more than 23 years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for the game. As a player, he competed at Chipola College and the University of Georgia, where he was part of the Bulldogs' 2001 SEC Championship team and a College World Series appearance.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Havel has been part of successful Northwest Florida baseball programs, including Mosley, Marianna, and Bay High School. He and his wife, Jesica, a Chipley High School alumna, along with their children Camdyn, Brayden, and Aubrey, are excited to call Chipley home.
