Principal's Message

Welcome to Chipley High School

As the Principal, I want to welcome you to CHS and to our website.  I am currently serving in my first year as principal.  I have worked in the Washington County School district for fourteen years, beginning as a teacher at Roulhac Middle and then Assistant Principal there for two years.  Last year, I served as Assistant Principal at Chipley High and it was a great experience for me.

High school years are very important for students because they are beginning to plan for their future, be it taking the college road to success or the career route.  Whatever they choose, I want CHS students to be prepared.  I believe that there is a purpose for each and every one of our students and I want to assist them in understanding and developing his or her purpose in a safe, positive, and motivating environment.  I encourage CHS students to get involved in extracurricular activities as we offer various programs in athletics, band, theater, and clubs, all of which help students develop character.

Our staff is awesome and ready to take on the challenge and the mind-set of nurturing and teaching in a way that compliments student needs. We truly believe that it will take a cohesive effort in providing an educational program where students enjoy learning, all the while, making high school memories that will last a lifetime.

We thank you for sharing your children with us and we appreciate the confidence that you have in our school.  Go Tigers!!!
